What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device so it can remember information between visits. Some cookies are essential (the site cannot function without them), some are used for security and abuse prevention, and some are used to serve and measure ads.
Cookies on kiwicalendar.co.nz
Kiwi Calendar is a static site with no first-party analytics or tracking. We do not set our own cookies. The only cookies you may encounter come from the third parties we use to host the site and serve ads.
Third-party cookies
Cloudflare
Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. It may set short-lived cookies such as __cf_bm (bot management) and cf_clearance (security challenge). These are essential for serving the site safely and cannot be turned off without breaking access. They contain no personal information.
Google AdSense
AdSense pays for the site. When you load a page that contains an ad slot, Google may set cookies such as NID, IDE, or __gads to remember preferences, control ad frequency, and measure performance. EU and UK visitors are shown a consent prompt before personalised ads are served. You can manage your Google ad settings at any time at adssettings.google.com.
Brevo
If and when we add an email signup form, Brevo may set cookies on the signup page itself to handle the form. These cookies will be added here once the signup is live.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential third-party cookies may interfere with security features such as the bot challenge. Blocking AdSense cookies will not stop ads from showing, but will limit how relevant they are.
Changes to this policy
We will update this list when we add or remove third-party services. The "last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
